Manuel Jaime Rodriguez, 79, of DePue passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria.
The memorial visitation for Manuel will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barto Funeral Home in Spring Valley. The memorial service for Manuel will be held at 7:00 PM following the visitation. Pastor Jon Graham will officiate. Cremation has been accorded.
Manuel was born on December 25, 1945 in Mexico to Nicolas and Margarita (Rodriguez) Jaime. He married Christine (Giacometti) McDonald. He worked at the Monterey Mushroom facility of rural DePue from 1982 to 2017.
He is survived by his wife Christine of DePue; 2 step sons, James Michael Giacometti of Spring Valley; Lester Alan McDonald of DePue; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Manuel was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters and 1 brother.
