Mr. Luther Blaylock III Obituary
Mr. Luther Blaylock III entered into rest on Thursday January 9, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Friday January 17, 2025 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am.Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Mausoleum. He leaves to cherish his memory: his son: Luther Blaylock, IV; his daughter: Korchia LaShanda Blaylock; four grandchildren: Kiandra Greene, Kayla (Breydon) Doubet, Luther Blaylock, V, and Roxwell Hoefer; four sisters: Rosemary (CJ) Mealing, Elizabeth Ivey, Crystal Blalock, and Tywanda (Thadd) Allen; one brother: Charles Edward (April) Blalock; one-step son: James Gerald Haynes; four step grandchildren: Jeremy Haynes, Jamanisha Haynes, Joshua (Kiara) McKinney, and Antwan Hill; four sisters-in-law: Katie Blalock, Robbie Belton, Brenda (Jonas) Ivey, Fatima (Curtis) Mincey; five brothers-in-law: Willie (Lynnelle) Wilson, Matthew Jackson, Richard (Vanessa) Wilson, Marcus (Phyliss) Wilson, and Curtis (Latosha) Hobbs; one great aunt: Mary Jane Scurry; one uncle: George James Curry; and a devoted friend: Amanda Clayborne; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Blaylock may be viewed on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

We surely miss Luke. He was a wonderful neighbor. I was inspired by his walking, up until his dog died and health issues. He loved fishing and his classic trucks. Much grace and comfort to the family.
