Ms. Regina Ann (Agbovi) Allen was born October 24, 1960, in Flint, Michigan, to William and Juanita Allen. Regina Peacefully transitioned from this life to her Heavenly home July 9th, 2025. A member of West Carpenter Road Church in Flint, MI Regina accepted Jesus Christ as Her savior. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she found comfort in the Lord’s presence throughout her journey.
Regina also attended & graduated from Flint, MI., Northern High School the "class of 1978". She’s worked in various jobs Regina (Agbovi) Allen, Beloved, a true citizen of the world, carried a free spirit wherever she went — from the streets of Flint, Michigan to distant corners of the globe. She’s visited Ghana, Germany, France. Deeply connected to her West African roots, where she also lived for a few years (Lomé, Togo) she found beauty in culture, joy in movement, and purpose in every journey she took. Her life was a vibrant tapestry of exploration, heritage, heart, and fearless.
Ms. Regina Ann (Agbovi) Allen leaves to cherish her memory , her loving mother Juanita Allen , Grandchildren Donte Allen & Canaja Garrett , Great Grandchildren Alanna, Macion, & Donte Allen Jr. daughter-in-law, Tori Drake all of Flint, Ml., step-mother, Etta Eggleston , (7) sisters, Audrey Henderson, Monica Harris, Kaneesha Allen, Laticia Young, Lynn Peterson, Quan Clarke, and Ashley Williams; (1) brother, Theron Young, godbrother, Pete Campbell; aunt, Bernice Moore; (2) uncles, Clifton Moore Jr. and Steven Moore; 2 cousins, Howard (Beaver) Turner and Maxine Brown.
A host of other relatives and friends, including all nieces & nephews along with special friends, Ray McDowell and Jackie Furlow. Ms. Regina Ann (Allen) Agbovi was preceded in death by her beloved son, [Jordache “Jody” Allen, who was the light of her life.
Though they are no longer with us, we take comfort in the thought that they are now reunited. Father William Allen, grandparents, Debra Allen & Joseph Stewart, Mildred Smart, Richard Skelton, and Clifton (Annie B) Moore, sisters, Debra R Washington, Tonya R. Smith, brothers, Craig S. Allen, Phillip Teer, William Teer, aunt, Geraldine Harper, uncle, Fred Williams; nieces, Diamond Harper and Diamond Jones, and nephew, Anthony Allen Special friends Mary Ann Jackson & Venita Williams.
The family would like to express special thanks to Mclaren Hospice Medical Team, many nieces, nephews, cousins & last but not least Special Sister/Caretaker Audrey Henderson.
