Pamela Jean Piercy, 67, of Athens, West Virginia, passed away peaceful at her home on July 22, 2025. Born October 12, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Alice Igo of Parma, Ohio. Pamela was a woman of grit, heart, and unwavering determination. She was stubborn as an ox, and when she set her mind to something, there was no stopping her. She lived life her own way—boldly, unapologetically, and full of spirit. She spent most of her working years as a cook, a job that suited her nurturing heart and strong work ethic. But she also had a creative side—Pamela loved to paint and make art, expressing herself through color and imagination. Her favorite pastime was sitting on the porch with a cup of tea, watching the birds and deer. Nature brought her peace, and she found joy in life’s simple moments. Above all, Pamela loved her family fiercely. She is survived by her three daughters: Trina Conley of Ohio, Christina Wrobel of Athens, West Virginia, and Sarah Steele and George Avis of Athens, West Virginia; her two sisters, Sharon Vansach of Spencer, Ohio, and Trina Igo of Seven Hills, Ohio; and six grandchildren: Justin Lambert, Jessica Lambert, the late Jennifer Conley, Joseph Conley, Dakota Steele, and Hope Steele. Pamela will be cremated by Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton, West Virginia. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, August 1, 2025, at 5pm, at the family home in Athens.
She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved.
