Richard Quinn Obituary

Rochester, NH

Richard Joseph “Rick” Quinn, Jr. age 65, of Rochester, NH, passed away unexpectedly on March 2, 2025.

Born in Arlington, MA on January 8, 1960, son of Richard Joseph Quinn, Sr. and Patricia Ann (Zoost) Quinn.

Owner and operator of A Cut Above Painting.

Rick enjoyed spending his time snowmobiling, lawnmower racing, camping, and tinkering with his many projects. He was a very proud Father and Grandfather. He loved animals, his family, and many friends. He was compassionate, kind, talented, and knowledgeable.

Rick left a lasting impression on many. He is now resting peacefully watching over and rooting for all of us. Rick would want people to show kindness and care to others, he would encourage you to enjoy your life to the fullest, to continue your education, to buy that trinket you want, and to remind your loved ones often how much they mean to you.

Survived by his daughter Jessica Cahill and son-in-law Justin Cahill, 2 grandsons: Carter Cahill and Benjamin Cahill, wife: Leisa Scribner, 2 brothers: Danny Quinn and Steve Quinn, sister: Maureen Harriman, brother-in-law: Christopher Harriman, nephew: Gunnar, and niece: Brooke. Predeceased by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Rick was a gd man, a hard man but showed care for anyone that came into his life! A great Harley Davidson driving man! Always loved his Harley! And was a proud man! It's times like this when u lose a friend that u didn't realize how good of a friend he was and the things he has done for all! He had a rough life like most of us! But never brought anyone down because of it! Ride free, ride hard, ride fast and see someday again my brother! Big Jim Hall. Sorry for your loss Jessica!

I had the privilege of meeting Rick and seeing him at family events. His pride in, and love for his daughter, son in law and grandsons was evident. He will be greatly missed.
