In celebration of a long prosperous life surrounded by many family, friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren, we announce the passing of Dr Robert I Price, born January 17, 1932, in Shamokin Pennsylvania.
Robert lived to the age of 93 in Bricktown, New Jersey. He was the caring father of his son Jefferey Price and daughter Jamie Price, husband to Dawn Wanke and a fatherly figure to many others. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and retired as Superintendent of Schools in Ocean Port, New Jersey.
In addition to his son and daughter, Robert leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Christopher, Megan, Ryan, Taylor, Hunter and Jessica as well as 3 great grandchildren Mason, Jaydon and Zoey.
Robert was known by everyone as very caring and intelligent man who willingly gave his time to others.
A celebration of his life and service will be held on Tuesday May 13th at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home in Brick, New Jersey from 4pm to 6pm.

I served as principal under Dr. Price for 10 years. He was an intelligent and hard working superintendent.
Every decision he made was for the good of the students.
