Robert Rosenberg Obituary

 Robert J. Rosenberg, age 83, of Brick, NJ passed away on January 3, 2025, while surrounded by his family. He grew up in Jersey City before moving to Brick in 1970. Robert served in the US Army from 1964 to 1966, bravely fighting in the Vietnam War. After his service he went back to work for Pepsi Co. for over 40 years.

Surviving Robert are his wife of 58 years, Lillian Rosenberg; his daughters, Virginia Sasso and her husband Joseph, and Denise Scaltrito; two grandchildren, Amanda Sasso and Nicholas Scaltrito; he is also survived by two siblings, Ronald Rosenberg and Joan Cowan and husband William. Among many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his one brother, Richard Rosenberg.

A viewing for Robert will be held on Thursday 3 pm to 7 pm at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road Brick, NJ 08723. A funeral home service will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am. Family and friends should arrive on Friday between 10 am and 10:20 am for the funeral service. The committal will be at Ocean County Memorial Park, Silverton Road Toms River, NJ 08753.
