The loss of this man echoes through the north country. He was a true gentleman in every way.

Very sorry to hear about Ron passing, Patty and I always thought he was very quiet and respect full and whenever our paths crossed he was very great in his greeting us, thanks also to him being an Air Force veteran and when the memorial service happens please include us

I like to offer my sincere condolences to Ron’s family and Charlene. Although I have not seen him for a while,I liked Ron he was a friend. He sure looked cool on that little sports car !

Ron was our next door neighbor for the past 15+ years. He was always very helpful and friendly. We often saw him walking Ziggy or working in his yard or on his house. It was nice knowing someone who had been in the area for as long as he had. We will miss seeing him around, as we did nearly every day.

So shocked and sorry to hear about Ronone of the ‘good guys” !! I worked with Ron for many years and enjoyed his refreshing sense of humor and quick wit. His pride of family was evidentoften and immensely !! I wish much peace, comfort, and strength to the family members. Chrissie Liberatos

I was Ronnie's closed cousin. We grew up together and spent many years with each other's families. We did family vacations, back yard cookouts, and the famous Sackets Harbor dump runs. With side trips to the American Legion just to name a few. After moving miles apart, we got together whenever possible. We cherished talking about Syracuse Orangemen Basketball Games and enjoying a beer or two. To Char my heartfelt sympathy and thank you for always welcoming me to the cottage and your home. To his beloved children Michelle, Shawn, Kelly and all your families my heart will be forever deeply sadden by Ronnie's passing. My sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I know my family and I will forever cherish the many stories and memories we all share. We were so saddened and shocked to hear about Ronnie's passing. He was Sharon's cousin and with his brother, John, served as our altar boys at our wedding. Through the years with Sharon's brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Della, and their family, we shared so many fun times and those memories will last forever. I think I will remember Ron for his smile and his great love for his family. You all made him so proud. He always told of your great accomplishments. I got to know Ron while I was working at the state Office Bldg , , but knew his daughter Michelle and her husband Don from working at Watertown Correctional Facility . Ron was very easy to like and talk to and remained friends throughout the years . We would run into each other many times at Sackets Harbor , usually at the legion !!!!! Thoughts and prayers are with his family , Rest in Peace Ron !!!!!!

I worked together with Ron in Traffic Engineering my first six months with NYSDOT in Watertown. After that time, I was reassigned to the Design Group. While working with Ron, he noted that we had to be distant relatives as his mother's maiden name was Percy, and she came from the Clayton, NY, area. My Percy ancestors all came from the Clayton/Cape Vincent area as well. Small world some might say. Anyway, I will always remember the friendship that Ron extended to me when I first started my career with NYSDOT. My thoughts are with his family at this difficult moment in their lives.

So sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. We graduated together many years ago.. 1964. Would get to see him often at the State Office Building when we were both still working. I always said that of our classmates, Ronnie aged the least. He will be so missed by so many. A bright light has certainly gone out. I pray that God is holding you all in the palm of his hand. Family was everything to him and was so proud of you all.
