I met Sherry in the obstetricians office 45 yrs ago when I was pregnant with my son David and she was pregnant with Ryan, and Robin was a toddler. Ryan is a month older than David. We struck up a friendship that day and it lasted 45 yrs. We discovered that day in the doctors office that we only lived 1 block from each other, what a small world. My son David manages the Drury Inn and said your mom had been staying with them this summer and on other occasions. He said she left $150 tip for him to do something nice for the staff, what a sweet and thoughtful gesture. My other son Jay said she saw him this last year and spoke to him, before he saw your mom. I just loved Sherry and cherish our friendship, she was a sweetheart. Robin, I know you, your husband, Ryan and your boys will miss her beyond words. Cherish your memories they are precious and will help you through your grief. Lost my mom 39 yrs ago, she was only 61, and I miss her everyday. Sherry and my birthdays were only 2 months apart, mine is December 19, 1951, hers February 14, 1952. My thoughts, love and prayers are with you!❤

I had the privilege of being her colleague at both East Buchanan and Central. The students loved her and she loved them. Always a hoot in the teacher’s lounges as she always found a way to laugh. Her favorite subject to discuss were her kids. Bye Sherry. Gone way too soon.
