William Kindl Obituary

William Warren Kindl, 78, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 in Paoli Hospital, Paoli, Pennsylvania.

Bill was born on October 6, 1947, in Inkster, Michigan, the son of the late Mildred Mesaros Kindl and the late John Ivan Kindl.

Bill graduated from Lee M. Thurston in 1965 and from Michigan State University in 1969. He served in the US Coast Guard from 1970 to 1974. He married the former Elaine Slapik, with whom he recently celebrated 54 years of marriage.

Bill worked as a Financial Advisor with Principal Financial for many years, retiring in 2015.

He was an avid coin collector, enjoyed history, was a particular admirer of Abraham Lincoln, and was also a classic car enthusiast. He enjoyed going to Falmouth, Cape Cod with his wife, family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sarah Kindl Zylik and her husband, Rick, of Canton, Michigan; a son, Adam Kindl and his wife Heather of Milton, Delaware; and four grandsons, Nathan and Joseph Zylik, both of Canton, Michigan, and Andrew and Ryan Kindl, both of Milton, Delaware.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Grace Covenant EPC , 444 Creamery Way, #100, Exton, Pennsylvania. at 11:00 a.m., November 22, 2025. Family and friends will be received from 9:45-10:45 a.m.

Interment will be private with the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
