Vickie Ann [Hood] Carter, of Clarksville, Ohio, passed away on March 12, 2025 at the age of 63. She was born September 16, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Mary [Jones] Hood.
Devoted wife and best friend to her late husband of 29 years, Dennis N. Carter. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Connie Pevley, and brothers, Dale and Glen Hood. Loving caretaker to her surviving granddaughter, Allison “Sommer” Carter and their dog, Darcy; dear sister-in-law to Bobby (Mary Jean) Carter; sister of Mark Hood; beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Vickie grew up in the Cincinnati neighborhood of Carthage. For 30 years, she worked for Cintas in Mason. She was hardworking, loyal, and always looked forward to shopping. We celebrate her bright funny spirit and the gift of her life!
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of service at 1 PM on Tuesday, March 25th at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. Interment will follow onsite at Rest Haven Memorial Park. A reception will be held until 4 PM in the community room at the funeral home for friends and family in attendance. Vicky....you are truly missed..working with you years ago on second shift was second to none...you would have rolled your eyes when emily announced your passing.....thanks for all your dedicated work as a wife a grandmother to sommer and to the people you touched......I hope your at peace cause we are not yet....God bless you and we """all"""can't wait to c u soon....they say in heaven that one year down here is a minute in heaven....so I hope to c u in 30 minutes....until we meet again....God speed..

I'm forever going to miss working with her everyday. She was a great worker and friend. She had a wonderful sense of humor and always talked about her granddaughter Sommer and their dog. She always made me laugh. She was so fun.
