It is with heavy hearts we announce the untimely passing of Whitney Michelle Alldredge, “NeNe” to those closest to her. She was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on July 7, 2025, at the age of 40.
Whitney was born on October 23, 1984, in Longview, Texas to William Michael Alldredge and Sheila Lorraine Henry.
She was beautiful, sassy, funny and loving. There was never a dull moment when she was around, which is why she was loved by so many.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert Alldredge, Violet Virginia Moore and Hollis Henry; aunt, Renita “Nita” Gulley and uncles, Charles Alldredge and John Alldredge.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Sheila and Edward Laird; father and stepmother, William Michael and Carla Alldredge; daughter, Paisley Alldredge; significant other, Tim Trahan; sisters, Tamara Alldredge, Stephanie Swigart, Nikki Thornbrugh and Brittany Mays; nieces and nephews, Thalia, Kayla, Candace, Tori, Justin, Joshua, Jaxon, Harly, Hannah, Ashtyn, Addisyn and Nicholas; TJ, Nirvana, Delilah, Khalia and Riverleigh along with countless amazing cousins, loved ones and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Yates Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Scottsville, Texas. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 14, 2025, at the funeral home.
