Carl Guthrie was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 6, 2018, age 95, surrounded by family.
He was born in Manitou, Okla.
He served with the 146th Army Corp of Engineers serving in Normandy and Northern and Central Europe during WWII.
He married Marjorie Calloway on June 14, 1946 in Manitou, Oklahoma and raised three children. He owned and operated two seed companies as a seed exporter after farming for many years in Quincy, Washington .
Carl is survived by his wife, Marjorie; daughter Gayle (Greg) Nyquist; son Dale (Carol); son Dennis (Jolane); five grandchildren ( Eric and Joel Nyquist; John-Carl Guthrie; Anna, and Kristen Guthrie); and six great-grandchildren (Ben, Grace, Grant Nyquist; Elena, Adele, and Isla Nyquist).

Mrs Guthrie, I was so sorry to hear about Mr Guthrie's passing. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. My Dad passed on February 21 of this year and we laid him to rest a week ago.
