Geraldine Luicalee (Vachal) Alden passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 from an automobile accident in Woodland Park.
Originally from Wichita, Kansas, she lived in Woodland Park, Colorado for 36 years.
Geraldine became a business owner later in life. She and her son Bill purchased a Conoco Gas Station and convenience store in 1995. She enjoyed this phase of her life and frequently gave the corporate office of Conoco her thoughts on how to improve operations.
She was a great mother, friend and neighbor to people and animals in the area. Geraldine loved animals and would take in any stray cat that walked through the yard. She was a friend to all the wild animals in the neighborhood.
She is preceded in death her husband, William Arnold Alden and is survived by her sons William Michael Alden and James Steven Alden plus two grandsons and two great granddaughters.
