Marilean Kelly, loving
wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand mother, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2018 in Colorado Springs. Born Marilean Doyle on November 30, 1925 in Pioneer, Iowa, she was the oldest child of the late Ann and Leo Doyle.
After graduating from high school in 1943, Marilean was an operator and supervisor for the telephone company in Humboldt, IA. until her marriage to John Kelly in 1947. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1957, where they raised their five children. Marilean is proceeded in death by her beloved husband, John and her four siblings. She is survived by her children: Mary Davis (Kevin), Bishop Gregory Kelly, Theresa McCormick (Wayne), Dennis Kelly (Patti), and Jeanette White (Doug). Marilean took great joy in her nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, each of whom she loved deeply.
Visitation is Friday, December 7, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 pm, Rosary at 7:00 pm-Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Ave. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2318 N. Cascade Ave. with the internment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

Such a kind and sweet woman. I enjoyed taking care of her and her teeth for 11 yrs. I will surely miss her very much. She was truly an inspiration. Beautiful service. Prayers for her dear family.
