AMANDA MARIE (RULLMAN) DEMATTO
1984 - 2019
Amanda Marie (Rullman) DeMatto, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and aunt, passed peacefully on July 30, 2019. She was born on January 10, 1984 at Fort Carson, CO. Amanda graduated from Widefield High School in 2002. She received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Colorado in 2006. She also received her Masters Degree in Education from The University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in 2008. From 2008 until 2019, Amanda taught science in the Widefield School District. In addition to teaching, she also coached track and field. Amanda enjoyed life to it's fullest, valuing time with family and friends more than anything. She had a tremendous heart and adored her children, and loved being a mother and wife.
Amanda is survived by her husband, Bryan, and their two sons, Brady (7) and Tucker (3), parents, Jeff and Gloria Rullman of Colorado Springs, and brother, Eric also of Colorado Springs; and grandparents, Bob and Maria Rothrock of Colorado Springs and Fred and Judy Rullman of Ohio.
A viewing will be held at 12:00 noon until 1:30 PM on Tuesday, August 6th, with services to follow at 2:00 PM, at Pikes Peak Christian Church, 4955 Bradley Rd, Colorado Springs, CO. A private burial and reception will follow. Her family wishes in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Widefield High School Science Department, 615 Widefield Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80911.
