Georgia Carol Pinkal, 73, went to Heaven on November 17, 2019 after persevering with strength and dignity through a seven-year journey with ovarian cancer.
Born to Mildred (DeMarco) and George Ernst, Georgia was a native and lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She graduated from St. Mary's High School, earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado and master's degree from Colorado College.
Georgia began her career as an elementary school teacher before raising her children as a stay-at-home mom. She was an avid reader and enjoyed singing, playing the piano, drawing, painting, and dining out.
Georgia is survived by her husband, Bill, to whom she was married for forty-three years; her two kids and their spouses, Jeff (Kelly) Pinkal and Jenny (Bryan) Atchley, both of Longmont; and two grandchildren, Landon and Rylan Pinkal.

Graveside Service, 10:00AM, Wednesday, December 4, 2019, Mountain View Cemetery, 620 11th Avenue, Longmont, Colorado 80501.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Georgia's memory may be made to Springs Rescue Mission, 5 West Las Vegas Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
