James (Chubby) Miller was a life long friend. Having grown up together in Jefferson City, MO as friends, we shared many of life's experiences (Boy Scouts, JC public schools, Lincoln University, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity; he pinned me when I joined). We worked together during our college years employed by the MO Dept of Revenue. He gifted my mother with a pet puppy (sibling of his pet puppy); it was one of her favorites. Remaining friends over the years, we last saw one another during LU Homecoming 2015 (his Golden Class Reunion) and we exchanged text messages after his 75th birthday in August. Rest in peace, my Brother! Blessings and prayers of comfort to the Miller family!

Jim was a good friend and Lincoln University (MO) alum. He was always encouraging me with my business. Condolences to his family. I hope the memories you have of him will sustain you during this difficult time.

I knew Jim from our years at 24 hour fitness. We had many lovely discussions about politics and the Denver Broncos. He had a great sense of humor and was a kind and generous man. I will miss him.
