Stephen "Stubby" Heist, 72, passed away in Canaan, VT. He was born in St. Louis, MO and was adopted at 6 weeks of age by Raymond & Cordelia Heist.
He was a nationally known musician and entertainer who worked at The Broadmoor Hotel during the late 70's & early 80's where he played piano at The Golden Bee and The Terrace Lounge. He also played at The Fish Market in Old Town Alexandria, VA, for Royal Caribbean & Celebrity Cruise Lines and many other venues, including Vegas.
He is survived by his wife, Monique of Canaan, VT, children, Christine of St. Louis, Aimee and Brian of Colorado Springs, and his former wife Barb, also of Colorado Springs.
