Tommy Loren Keith, age 87, passed away quietly at his home Saturday, September 29, 2018.
He was born August 20, 1931 in Quay, New Mexico to Talbert and Laura Keith.
After completing high school he joined the Air Force in March 1951 and served through March 1955. Tommy owned and operated United Planning and Engineering, and developed several housing communities in the Colorado Springs area.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Elliott Keith; and his parents.
Tommy is survived by his former wife, Joyce Keith of Peyton, Colorado; his children, Johnny (Janet) Keith of San Tan Valley, Arizona, Debbie Gambrell of Boone, Iowa, Dave Galivan Keith of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Tommy (Kim) Keith of Mesquite, Nevada, Carrie (Joe) Nee of Ellicott, Colorado, Cody (Annette) Keith of Meade, Kansas and Troy Norris of Simla, Colorado; his stepchildren, Sharon Treadwell, Lisa Cowan, Rick Elliott and Shirley Gatewood; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; and his brothers, Neil (Dorothy) Keith of Debuque, Iowa, Melvin (Barbara) Keith and Alvin (Vena) Keith, both of Logan, New Mexico.
Tommy will be remembered for being a fair, caring and honest person, but most of all being a friend to everyone.
Memorial Service, 2:00PM, Sunday, October 7, 2018, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
