ARLINGTON EUGENE TAYLOR
December 15, 1946 - June 25, 2018
Arlington Eugene Taylor, 72, of Colorado Springs, passed away on June 25, 2018. He was born on December 15, 1946 in Wharton, Texas, to Covington Willard Hughes and Joyce Taylor. Both have preceded him in death. He served 20 years in the U.S. Army including Vietnam, as well as 20 years as a driver for Werner Enterprises, he also worked as security guard for Securitas Security Services. Arlington was an active church member, and he enjoyed fishing, going to the rodeo, hunting, and barbecuing.
He is survived by his four sons, Dominnik Ray Taylor, Jon-tah Curtis Taylor, Ricky Taylor of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Terry Taylor of Pueblo, Colorado; his daughter, Keturah Lorraine Taylor of Chicago, Illinois; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, a few siblings, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Angelus Chapel located at 1104 S. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado. A Funeral Service will be held July 7, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Angelus Chapel located at 1104 S. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80910. I am very sorry to hear about Arlington's passing. I met him while he worked as a guard for Securitas. He was always so funny and kept a smile on my face! I will miss his company. God bless his family and you are in my prayers.
