BERNADETTE ANN DAVIS

Bernadette Ann Davis, devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully September 16, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Bernadette was born in Hartford, CT on July 25, 1937 to Bernard and Anna Lindsey. She resided in Simsbury, CT in the early years of her life. She served in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1960 during the Korean Conflict War.
She met the love of her life Norris T. Davis "Jeff" while he was stationed at Westover AFB. They were happily married for 47 years. Bernadette enjoyed having a good time, listening to country, sing, play guitar and yodel! She even played with the Louvin Brothers and played in the Grand Ole Opry.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, mother, father, sister, Wilhelmina B. Juniewicz, nephew AF Major Cliff Thorstenson, whom she was a second mother too, and her beloved dog Lenny Lambchop.
She is survived by her son Michael (Mary) Davis, daughter Sharon (Brad) Humphries, sisters Patricia (Ernest) Heath and Ann (Cliff) Thorstenson.Grandchildren Jeffrey (Crystal) and Jeremy (Amber); her great-grandchildren Eviyana, Aislin, Falon, and Eli Humphries and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She will always live in our hearts.
Services will be held September 22, 2018 at Chapel Of Memories in Colorado Springs. Rosary at 1:30 Service following at 2:00. Burial will be held September 24, 2018, 9:30 at Fort Logan Cemetery.

I worked with Annie for a few years at Mountain Vista School in Harrison district. She was so much fun to work with and showed me such kindness. She was a sweet lady.
