Together in Heaven
Brigitte Majors, born June 20th, 1940 in Muhlhausen, Germany, joined her soul mate, David Majors in Heaven on October 8th after a short illness.
A native of Saarbrucken, Brigitte married her husband, David, in Pirmasens, Germany on May 31st, 1968. Brigitte and David settled in Colorado Springs in 1972.
Brigitte spent much of her career in the retail world, excelling due to her German work ethic and grit. She retired in 2011.
No matter the occasion, be it a family bbq, a holiday brunch, or her daily workout at Flex Gym, Brigitte was always the best dressed person in the room! Brigitte was ever inclusive; along with her family she had a wide circle of friends who she considered family. She was always accused of having never meeting a stranger! Her laugh, her joy of family, friends, and company will be missed!
She also had a passion for her pets, most of whom were strays. To the consternation of her family, many of Brigitte's four legged family found their home due to a plate of food left outside by her.
Brigitte is preceded in death by her husband David, her parents Wilhelmina and Hubert Jacobs, her parents in laws Glen (Red) and Jeanne Selland.
She is survived by her son Mark, his fiancee Krista, and their daughters Bekah and Katie. She is also survived by her sibling in laws, who were her family from the get go; Mike and Kathy, Lisa and Dee, Don and Sandy.
A celebration of Brigitte's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Dr., Colorado Springs. Inurnment will be private.

Brigitte was my client and I am so sad she is gone. She always brightened my day with her cheerful attitude. She usually came to my office after working out and she always looked cute in her perfectly matched workout clothes. I will miss her!
My heart goes out to her family and friends. May you find comfort in the good memories you shared.
