Domitila "Tillie" Samsel

Tillie Samsel, 93, went to be with the Lord on November 5, 2017 with her family by her side in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
She was born on April 26, 1924 in Walsenburg, Colorado to Primitivo and Paula (Hernandez) Vallejo.
She was a well know chef in the Colorado Springs area for over sixty years.
Tillie is survived by her son, John (Marvene) Vallejo; two daughters, Pinky Castaneda, and Janette Guerra; four brothers, Angel Vallejo, David Vallejo, Manuel Vallejo, and Ben Vallejo; a sister, Lydia Martinez; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Primitivo and Paula Vallejo; her husband, John Samsel; son, Carl "Chato" Samsel; granddaughter, Yvette Samsel; and three brothers, Tony, Joe, and Sam Vallejo.
Visitation, 5:00PM - 7:00PM, Wednesday, November 8, 2017, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
