1SG Edward McLaughlin, U.S. Army, (Ret.), passed away peacefully on October 19, 2018.
Born in Crestview, Florida on January 15, 1931, Edward lived a blessed and fulfilling life.
He served twenty-two years with the U.S. Army including three tours in Vietnam. Ed also served his community as a Deputy for CSPD for over twenty years.
Mack loved hunting, fishing, sports and cooking. He was dedicated to his country, community and family. Ed was respected as a father, friend and war hero. He will be dearly missed.
Mack is survived by daughters, Carolyn, Gwen, Necol, Nastasha and Joanna; sons, Jerry, Racardo and Tony; thir-teen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service, 12:00PM, Tuesday, January 15, 2019 (his birthday), The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909. Celebration of Ed's Life immediately following, American Legion Post 38, 6685 Southmoor Drive, Fountain, Colorado 80817.
