Not sure what to say?

To the family and friends of George
Just want to share an experience I had with you.
On the night that George entered his rest, Betty Jean knew his time to move on was near. Before I left their house, Betty Jean wanted to pray, she led the prayer and prayed that Yahova would take George quickly and not let him suffer.
I left just a few minutes later. Betty Jean and her family gathered into the bedroom with George.
It is about a 30 minute drive home. Maybe 10 minutes into my drive, I am heading south on I-25, the tears are flowing and I'm wiping them away as I drive, I'm not setting any speed records. In the mirror I see a motorcycle coming up behind me, it slows as it gets closer, pulls up beside me and runs with me for a bit. The rider keeps looking over at me, then, the rider puts their hand to their mouth and blew me a kiss. The bike then went on its way.
Before I even arrived home, I received the text that George had passed. Betty Jeans prayer had been answered. As for the motorcycle, I'll always believe this was a message from Yehova that George was at peace. Thank you Yehova!
All my love, Carrol.

Dear Betty Jean, Doug, Mike, and family
So grateful to have been blessed with a friend like George. Glad you all shared him! Memories of George will forever bring a smile to my face. Time shared with him was always something both Carson and I looked forward to, weather it be fishing, playing darts, playing greedy, enjoying pig races, or just hanging out. George was easy to be around and always there for you in times of need.
Love you and miss you George. Grateful to have known you and called you friend.
Love to all, Carrol

My Awesome Cousin George, we all lost a wonderful man. BettyJean, your sons, and our siblings and entire family will miss you forever. We lost touch many years back until Cousin Cindy May found me and invited me over when you and BettyJean came to town. We are Anderson's so after a few minutes of catching up we were all together again.
George you are one of the kindest men I know-also one of the devious, ornery, and good natured big kids. When I was little, too little to play with you boys I didn't want to be the Army nurse so I was the guard dog, you played along. You chased me with frogs and made me love them.
We will miss your humor and sly grin and your warm, huge heart. Men like you are rare and do not come around more than once in a lifetime. You all invited me to the Scorpions concert, every time I hear their songs I heard Cousin Betty Jean yell Scorps!. I had so much fun I lost my house keys in the front door all night! Thank you Roger Pauley for telling me to look there!
You and your wonderful wife were the ultimate love story, team, and best friends. You lead by example and I can't express the loss and heartache I feel. My heart is filled with love and gratitude that we all were able to reconnect and be apart of each others lives again.
Until we all meet again. Please say Hi to Grandma-you know she had a soft spot for you!
I will love and miss you forever Cousin George.

George is my little brother and I miss him. I can't Imagine my world without him. But he is gone, with no way to change it.

We were a traditional military family. Dad & mom tried to populate the world with 7 Kids Pam, Debo, Jack, George, Walt, Cindy, and Lulu. George was the kid in the middle. In 1964 dad was stationed on Elmendorf AFB, Anchorage, Alaska. Dad arrived 3 days before the 1964 earthquake. We arrived 6 weeks after. We had been stationed to Lackland AFB, in San Antonio, Texas. Dad & mom packed up 7 kids, 1 dog and 1 cat, and moved to Alaska. In 1966 dad retired from the US Air Force, the ceremony was in Seattle, Washington. He moved to Southgate, California, next door to Aunt Joan, Uncle Bob, and our 4 cousins (Susan Jesse, Jack, Barbie). In 1968, packed up the 5 youngest kids and moved them to Riverside, California. I stayed in Alaska and Pam moved to Texas.

The move to California had some benefits for George, it's where he met Betty Jean. When I met, Betty Jean and I loved her immediately. Yep, she definitely fit with our family, just a little warped (but in the best of ways). They had 3 sons Robbie, Dougie, and Mikey (Robbie had his daughter, VaNessa, and her daughter Lillia'ana). In 2017 I was visiting our sister Cindy, while down there I got to talk to (George & Betty Jean were helping her sister who had surgery)). George came over to Cindy's house and we got to talk. He told me that he was blessed. Betty Jean was his best friend, the love of his life and soul mate. George's heart was/is safe with Betty Jean. How very true.

Now, George is gone. Rest well sweet little brother, I miss you and i love you. Debo.

Farewell brother, you were one of my very few, best friends in life. You have left a hole in my heart that can't be refilled. I visualize you in heaven setting around a camp fire with my dad, laughing and telling stories of the excursions, hunts and life's events we shared. I will cherish those memories and will hold them dear to my heart. I will do my best to look after Betty and your family. Your life's story has been written Honorably in the Book of Life. Until we meet again, save my spot at your camp fire. Love ya Buddy.

When first met Betty & George they were just starting out and George was a new recruit in the Army as I was. George was rocking that blue Ford Maverick. George and Betty both were always very nice to me , I've always missed the fun we had and regret not getting out to see George before he left us. The 70s & 80s were a lot of fun. Even though I haven't seen George for a long time l'll still miss him.✝ I'd like to say George had a great wife all those years as well.
