GREGORY L. ORR
July 6, 1969 - April 7, 2021
In loving memory of Greg Orr, 51 years old. Greg passed away on April 7th, 2021. Greg spent most of his professional life as a semi-truck driver driving "the big truck". Greg was born July 6th, 1969 to Ronald Orr and Betty (Wiegert) Orr in Colorado Springs, CO. On December 11, 1994 he married Tina Orr, with whom he made his whole life and loved beyond measure. Greg's passion was his family, camping and fishing. On any given day you could find him teaching children, nieces and nephews how to bait a hook and take a fish off the line without hurting the fish. He also loved being the best in his profession, there was not a vehicle he could not drive and be proficient from the first time behind the wheel.
Greg is survived by his loving wife Tina, 5 children: Christina, Kira, Shawnmarie, Amanda and Michael. Also, by his loving parents, Ronald and Betty Orr, and a brother, Robert Orr. Also, numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. Greg was preceded in death by his daughter Erin Nicole, brother Jeffrey Orr, sister Christina Stevens, paternal grandparents Bill and Myrtle Orr and maternal grandparents Chester and Cynthia Elizabeth Wiegert.
A Catholic Mass will be held at Holy Apostles Church, located at 4925 N. Carefree Cir., Colorado Springs, CO 80917 on Friday, April 16, at 10am. A small reception will follow at Northside Social Club, 9633 Prominent Point, Colorado Springs, CO 80924 at 1pm.
Greg was a man of honor and courage. He never backed down in the face of adversity and took his cancer diagnosis head on. Although he lost the battle to cancer, he fought it and lived longer than most doctors thought he would. In the end, his family has been so proud of the man he was.

I've never heard a man express how important his family was to him and how much he loved them as much as Greg did. He couldn't wait for his shift to end to get home to them. He was an amazing man with a huge heart. My condolences to Tina and his children.
