Helen "Claudette" Kunau, beloved wife of 63 years, and mother passed away Wednesday January 2, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born in Limon, Colorado to Claude and Helen (Miller) Glover. Claudette graduated from Colorado Springs High School Class of 1955. She married Albert L. Kunau on April 15, 1956. Claudette worked for A & A Truck Lines, H & R Block, and volunteered as Secretary/Treasurer for the IBEW Retirees Club. She was a member of the American Business Woman's Association. Her passions included gardening, reading, needlework, and spending time at the family cabin.
Helen is survived by her husband, Albert Kunau; son, Steve (Dee); daughter, Judi Hurley (Todd Rodas); and numerous friends and extended family members.
The funeral service will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and services at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs.
