Jeannine L Carder, 88, passed gently, December 18, 2018, at a local assisted living facility, under the gentle care of Brookdale Hospice and Brookdale care staff. Jeannine was born to Frank and Georgette Carder in Hawaii.
With her father in the military, she was educated in schools across the land and sea. After receiving her Hopewell H.S. diploma in Hopewell, Va in 1948, she moved with her retired parents to Colorado Springs where she graduated in 1952 from Colorado State-Greeley with a B.A. degree to teach elementary education. She studied further to receive her master's degree. During her teaching career she taught overseas and in
the state of Colorado school system.
Jeannine's hobbies and interests included swimming, tennis, en-joying a musical at the local theatre, taking in the cultural events of Denver and Colorado Springs, donating to charity and friends in need, raising her four-legged sidekick, Georgie Girl and traveling.
She will be remembered by friends and family for her quiet wisdom, graciousness, love of humanity and it's cultures and her great fondness
for See's chocolates.
Jeannine is survived by one grand niece, two nieces, three grand nephews and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her
parents, brother Raymond and companion, Georgie Girl.
Cryptside services will be held at Evergreen Park-Shrine of Remembrance-Garden of Angels. January 4, 2019 3:00 p.m.
