Joseph Michael Giambalvo entered this life on February 12, 1937. Joe entered eternal life on October 5, 2018. He left this life in his home surrounded by love and faith that, as usual, was preparing the way for all those he loved.
Joe was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Mary and John Giambalvo. He was preceded in his eternal life journey by his first wife, Judith, and his son, Brook. On July 7, 1973, Joe married herill and they were blessed with 45 years together. Joe treasured four daughters, Mary, Julie (Scott), Susan (Jim) and Cheri (Chuck). Together with twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, Joe was blessed with many good friends through the years.
Joe and Sherill especially wish to express their gratitude to Dr. William Barry and the cardiac nursing staff at Penrose Hospital.
We will celebrate Joe's life on Friday, October 12 at 2:00 pm at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.

Joe was a great man, a gifted leader, a caring person who spent his life mentoring and helping others. I will always be grateful for the time we spent together and the influence he had in my life. RIP my friend.
