Milton O. Johnson, 82, died July 26, 2006 in Colorado Springs, CO. Milt was born in Polk, NE on June 19, 1924 to Frank and Lillie (Glad) Johnson. Milt was a pharmacist at the Broadmoor Drug for 25 years after operating his own pharmacy in Sutton, NE for 12 years. He moved to Colorado Springs in 1961 and married Darlene Hansen that same year. He is survived by Darlene; a sister, Hazel of Forsyth, MO; and six nephews: Craig Werner of Madison, WI; Blake Werner of Tulsa, OK, Brian Werner of Centennial, CO, John Hertel of Reno, NV, Bob Hertel of Chicago, IL, and Mark Hertel of Phoenix, AZ. Milt was a graduate of Polk, NE High School and the University of Nebraska School of Pharmacology. He was an avid Cornhusker football fan and enjoyed reading and gardening and most of all, traveling with his wife of 45 years, Darlene. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO.

So sorry to hear of Milt's passing. I know you will miss him very much. I have so many fond memories of both of you. I miss not seeing you in the summers, it was always something I could look forward to. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

Dear Darlene - We're so sorry about your loss. Gilbert will attend the memorial service on Sunday, but Dorothy is recovering from major surgery and is unable to be there. Our prayer is that you have the strength needed to carry on. Love, Gilbert & Dorothy
