Reta Faye Nagel was born June 18, 1926 in Ripley County near Doniphan, Missouri. She was one of four sisters in a family which relocated to Rockford, Illinois during World War II. In Rockford, she met the love of her life and married Ernest W. Nagel, on June 7, 1947. They shared a marriage on this earth for 71 years until Ernest died this past August. They were apart for a mere 67 days until she joined Ernest for eternity. She is survived by a sister, Joye Johnston of Lawton, Oklahoma and by two sons, Greg (wife Carol of Colorado Springs) and Clint (wife Ann of Bozeman, Montana) , four grandchildren, Jesse, Vanessa, Cory and Shane and 6 great grandchildren Raenes, Jixx, Violet, Jo Jo, Dominic and Brian, and many nieces and nephews.
In her 92 years of lifetime, she treasured all things family, especially visits from grandchildren.
Ernest and Faye were longtime members of Mountain View Church of Christ and Memorial Gifts may be made to the Mountain View Church of Christ for the Lord's work.
A chapel service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, Nov. 2 at the Mountain View Church of Christ, 1080 E. La Salle Street, Colorado Springs, Co., 80907.
