Robert "Bob" Gordon Karraker died at home on July 2, 2018, surrounded by his loving children. He had a long, fulfilling life.
Bob was born in Anna, Illinois to Lowell Henry Karraker and Myra Kenosha Gordon Karraker. His parents and his sister, Jane Lee Bonifield, have preceded him in death.
He married Eunice Verinda Anderson in 1956. They moved to Woodland Park, Colorado, where Bob assisted his brother-in-law Tom with the operation of Woodland Pharmacy. A daughter, Kristine Elizabeth, was born in 1957. Eunice died tragically in 1958.
Bob married Olive Jean Armstrong in 1961 in Wheatley, Ontario, Canada. They celebrated their golden anniversary before her death in 2011. They had two children, Gregory Robert and Leslie Ann.
Bob is survived by his 3 children, Kristine (Blaine Barber), Gregory (Elizabeth) Karraker, and Leslie (Gregory) Morgan, his 7 grandchildren, Micah, Jeremiah, Sarita, Brittany, Jessica, Chase and Caleb, and his 8 great-grandchildren: Asher, Arrow, Taden, Gaige, Zao, Lyric, Olivia and Owen.
Visitation will be at Swan-Law Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
The celebration of Bob's life will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, at Monument Hill Church, followed by interment at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Bob has requested donations be made to the , the Salvation Army, the Gideons, or the International Mission Board of the SBC.
