Robert was born in Chacon, New Mexico to the union of Robert F. Torrez, Sr. and Abelina Gonzales. He went on to his heavenly reward on February 26, 2018.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Adelia Espinoza, MaryAnn Medina and Josephine Torrez; and a brother, George Torrez.
He is survived by two sons, Ivan Torrez, and Floyd Torrez; a daughter, Shirley Beckner; a brother, Cipriano Torrez; and two sisters, Lola Medina, and Gloria Kreidler.
Roberto enjoyed fishing, singing, playing his accordion guitar, family gatherings, volunteering at Silver Key and volunteering for Civic duties.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Angelus Funeral Chapel located 1104 S. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 905 Main Ordway, Colorado 80163. Interment will be at Valley View Cemetery, Colorado Hwy 71, Ordway.
