ROBERTSON "ROB" H. PINGEL
September 4, 1986 August 26, 2018
Grateful are the lives that were touched by this exuberant and loving soul. Rob's short yet fantastic life enriched us all. He had an amazing ability to bring joy to others, his optimistic and sunny nature was as infectious as his laugh.
Rob was born in Dallas, TX on September 4, 1986 and passed away suddenly on August 26, 2018 at the age of 31. He attended Alcuin School (formerly St. Alcuin School) in Dallas, Cheyenne High School in Colorado Springs and attended college at Western Carolina University. Rob was predeceased by his father, John S. "Jack" Pingel, Jr.
Rob is survived by his mother, Darra Robertson Pingel of Colorado Springs; and his girlfriend, Sara Claire Loiselle of Denver; also, by his uncle and aunt, Roy and Maria Pingel and their son, Danny; his half-brother and sister-in-law, Spencer and Gretchen Pingel and their children, Rory, Fritz, and Sophie; and by his half-sister, Heidi Pingel Stone, her husband, John Stone and their children, Quincy, Eloise and John. Rob took special joy in the time he spent with his cousins, Adam, Ashley, Matt, Kristen, Kyle, Renee, Liam and Raif.
Rob enjoyed traveling, music and promoting for various artists. He had an enormous and reciprocated love for dogs and enjoyed hiking and camping in Colorado's magnificent Rocky Mountains. Rob was able to combine these passions in his day gig: taking rescue dogs on mountain adventures. People, too, were drawn to this open hearted, open minded man, and his spirit will live on through those he loved.
