Salomon Jose Salazar of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on March 18th, 2021 at the age of 81. Salomon was born on September 8, 1939 in Cerro, New Mexico to the union of Isaias Salazar and Deluvina (Archuleta) Salazar. He lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado for 55 years. Also, Salomon resided in Cerro, New Mexico. Salomon Jose Salazar was married to Balbina Evelyn Maria Archuleta Salazar. They got married on November 24, 1962 and had four children together.
Salomon enjoyed fixing things around the house, watching wrestling, working on cars and wood, mowing the lawn and spending time with the family.
Mr. Salazar was preceded in death his father, Isaias Salazar; mother, Deluvina (Archuleta) Salazar and brothers, Orlando and Leo Salazar.
Salomon is survived by his wife, Balbina Evelyn Maria Archuleta Salazar of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his sons, Ricardo Victoriano Salazar and Alberto Salomon Salazar of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughters, Julia MaryAnn (Salazar) Vigil of Questa, New Mexico and Shirley Elizabeth Salazar of Colorado Springs, Colorado; four sisters, MaryJane Hernandez, Della Cisneros, Olivia Archuleta and Lillian Lucero; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory located at 1104 S. Circle Drive Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910 on March 31, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm followed by Rosary. Funeral Service will be held at Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory on April 1, 2021 at 11:00 am followed by Interment at Evergreen Cemetery located at 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
