Shirley Baker Nicholson, 88, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. She was born on November 27, 1929 in Omaha, Nebraska.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Nicholson Naughton (Tom) of Colorado Springs, CO; her son, Will Faust Nicholson III of Denver; eight grandchildren, Michael Naughton of Denver, Sarah Naughton Dorweiler (Jimmer) of Edina, MN, Rob Naughton (Lindsay) of Denver, Katherine Naughton of Avon, CO, Olivia Nicholson of Denver, Elizabeth Nicholson of Denver, Emily Nicholson of Denver, Marjorie Nicholson of Denver; and three great-grandchildren, Audrey and Graham Dorweiler, and Nina Naughton.
Her husband of sixty years, Will Faust Nicholson, Jr., her parents, Richard Lincoln and Marjorie Haycock Baker, and her sister, Louise Baker Garrett, all preceded her in death.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at St. John's Cathedral, 1350 Washington Street in Denver at 10:00 am. There will be a private family interment in Colorado Springs later that day.
