Tom is best described in the following tribute, written by his brother-in-law, Ken McCoy.
"Tom was a man of fierce intelligence and keen observational skills. He trusted the Lord his God implicitly and was at complete peace at the time of his passing. For the short time we will be apart I will miss Tom and my heart breaks for my big sister, Lynne. Please pray for her and the rest of the family that a little of the peace Tom felt in his passing and that he knows so completely now, will visit them."
He will be forever remembered and missed by his four children, sons Will Manzer and Ryan Domingos, and daughters Jenny Manzer and Erin O'Neil, their spouses, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren and most especially by his wife, Lynne, to whom he was married for 36 years. Also surviving are brothers Jim, Steve and Richard, and sisters, Marilyn and Marian. He is preceded in death by his parents, Agnes and Shelley Manzer, and brother's, Bob and Don.
Tom was very loved and he will be desperately missed.

I knew Tommy around 1957-61. He was part of the gang at First Presbyterian Church in Santa Paula. If I remember right, Tom dropped out of high school in his senior year to go to work to support a new baby. I always felt that was an example of the goodness of his heart. And even then he displayed the peaceable nature described by Ken McCoy.
