Valdron E. Wilson, a long-time Colorado Springs resident, passed away on December 19, 2020 at the age of 72.
Val was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Vera White. He graduated from Palmer High School and joined the Army in 1968. In his military service, Val demonstrated bravery, sacrifice and honor as a Vietnam War veteran.
On July 21, 1973, Val married Pauline (Alexa) Wilson in Colorado Springs, CO and remained her dedicated partner throughout his life.
Val was preceded in death by his mother Vera White; his son Walter; and his grandchildren Andrew, Laticia, and Kaile. He is survived by his wife Pauline (Alexa) Wilson; his children, Wayne (Cheri), Dewayne, Debbie, Ward (AiPing), Wade, Wanda (Frank), Wendy, Alex (Annie); his brothers, Harvey and Toby; his grandchildren Timothy (Stephanie), Chris, Anjolie, Tyler, Cole, Brett, Megan (Jake), Dalton (Alexx), Abby, Katy, Beyelica (Stephen), Myranda and AJ and his great grandchildren, Amiah, Rhianna, Cooper, and River.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

It is really late but I want to send my sympathy to Palins and her family after only just today January 8th 2024 over a year later learning of Valdren´s death! He was my best high school friend and I will miss him! With great love to those he love I am sorry for your loss. Walter Revoal in Denver.

Mr Wilson (Val) was a very dear friend and Co-Worker of mine , He and I were Bakers at the USAFA .
Baking breads, Cakes , and all Types of Pastry for 4,700 Cadet per day.
Also supporting The Jacks Valley Operations as well as helping out in the Kitchen during severe weather events through the years.
Also supporting Graduation and Ring Dinning Inn Dance which was very demanding.
Helping Tommie with Ice Carving for those events.
His Contributions to Cadets Contributed to our Air Force Men and Women I am sure are serving Today.
As my Friend , I will miss you and Condolence to your Family.
