Wanda L. Bailey, wife, mother, grandmother, passed away November 22,

2021 in her home in Fountain, CO. On March 30, 1950, Wanda was born in

Albuquerque, NM to Dallas Amos and Irene (Cockrum) Amos. Wanda was

raised in Colorado Springs. At nineteen she married Gale "Gene" Bailey and

traveled as a military wife, eventually returning to Colorado to raise her

family. In 1987, Wanda and Gene moved to Fountain, CO where they lived

the rest of their lives.

Wanda was a graduate of Palmer High School, class of 1968 and later

studied nursing at Pikes Peak Community College. She practiced as a

registered nurse in Colorado Springs for over twenty years. She was very

proud of her education and career.

Wanda enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidering and other crafting

and gifted many of her projects to benefit friends, family and people in

need.

Wanda is survived by her children Tina (Darrell) Perrow of CO., James (Cynthia) Bailey of CO., Eric (Chrissie) Bailey of CO, Jeanette (Michael) Garman of CO., stepson John (Kyong) Bailey of GA., Eleven Grandchildren, three Great-Grandchildren one on the way and sisters Eunice and Beverly Amos.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Wanda will be privately inurned at Pikes Peak National Cemetery with her beloved husband.
