Gene Muehling Obituary
Gene was born on October 8, 1957 in Sandusky, Ohio to Gene C. Muehling Sr. and the late Eleanor (Newcomber) Muehling.
Gene graduated from Perkins and Ehove in 1977. He was employed at Ford for several years as an assembler. He fully embraced the bachelor lifestyle, he enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and customizing his Jeep and he had a knack for fixing anything and took pride in working with his hands. Gene fulfilled a lifelong dream by seeing Def Leppard and Journey live and met both bands, crossing it off his bucket list.
Gene is survived by his daughter, Jen (Rod) Lambert; two sons, Matt Muehling and Ryan (Alexis) Muehling; five grandchildren, Brody Muehling, Paisley Muehling, Colin Muehling, Riley Lambert and Reid Lambert; three sisters, Tamela Deakins, Jody Bartish and Lori Harkleroad; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Friends may call on Monday, February 24th, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky.
