Lorenzo Mitchell Obituary
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength
of my heart and portion forever. Psalm 73:26
Lorenzo Vincent Mitchell was born on October 24, 1959, to the union of the late George Vincent Mitchell, Jr and the late Cora Mae Latson-Mitchell in Gainesville, Florida.
Lorenzo, affectionally called "Galli" received his formal education in the public schools of Alachua County, Florida graduating from Gainesville High School, in Gainesville. He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age.
On May 10, 2002, Lorenzo Vincent Mitchell was united in holy matrimony with Celeste Epps Mitchell in Ocala, Florida. Their union were blessed with 5 beautiful children.
He was employed by VW Whitehurst as a Heavy Equipment Operator until he retired. He loved cooking and spending time with his family and friends, fishing, lawn care and restaurant hopping.
When I must go, and leave this place Don't grieve for me, nor shed a tear I'll be in heaven, with a smiling face, free from pain, and all my fears. I'll be with loved ones who went
before. In a place of beauty, forever more. No more sorrow, no more pain. Just eternal joy, and love that remains So, when I'm gone, don't be blue Just remember me, and the
memories we hold true. I'll be watching over you, from above. Guiding you through, with boundless love.
