Robert Fann Obituary

Robert Earl Fann, aged 80, passed away July 24, 2025 in Asheville, NC. Robert was born January 12, 1945, in San Antonio, TX, to the late Vida Pickett and Billy Fann. In his younger years Bob was a professional tennis player and ranked among the best tennis players in the country. He served in the Air Force at Offutt Air Force Base during the Vietnam Era. Robert loved the Dallas Cowboys, country music, and dogs. Above all he was very proud of his family. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in passing by his sister, Caroline Fann. Robert is survived by his ex-wife, Rachel Fann; children, Robin (Corey) Fann Costanzo of Asheville, NC, Sharon (Joe) Smith of Arden, NC, Jayson Fann of Carmel, CA; sister, Jeri Tolbert; grandchildren, Gabriel Fann of Carmel, CA, Noah Fann of Sanata Barbara, CA, Sofia Costanzo of Asheville, NC, Nathan Monjarez,of Portland, OR, Rosie Costanzo of Asheville, NC, and Dylan Simmons of Asheville, NC; and great grandsons, Elias Fann and Milo Fann.
