Ida Nunn Obituary

Ida Lee Nunn passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at her home in Joiner, Arkansas, at the age of 78. She was born on March 25, 1947, in Joiner, Arkansas to Lester and Rosie Ann Cooney. She was a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Chelford, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents Lester and Rosie Cooney and one brother Fred Cooney. Ida is survived by two sons Marquette Nunn Sr. of Joiner, Arkansas and Jerry Dority Jr. (Danielle) of Magnolia, Arkansas, one daughter Zandra Harris (Charles Sr.) of Joiner, Arkansas, one brother James Cooney of Rockville, Maryland, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 9:00a.m. until service at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Chelford, Arkansas. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10:00a.m. at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Chelford, Arkansas. Interment will follow at St. Mark Cemetery in Chelford, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas.
