I was proud to have known Mary Jo from my early childhood days at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Ypsilanti through our years as a step-family. She was a great Sunday School teacher to both me and her son Andy, and I remember visiting their house to listen to albums with him.
Mary Jo was a wonderful partner for my Dad, and they enjoyed many years and travels around the world. We always liked to hear about their latest adventure, and what famous place or person they had seen. We were also honored to have been a part of Mary Jo´s stories, vicariously living back in an earlier era as literary characters.
Our deepest condolences to Andy and Megan, Brad and Cheryl, and their families, and Ted´s daughters Brittany and Heather.
On behalf of our family, and my brother Bill, thank you Mary Jo for being there for all of us throughout the years.
