Barbara Vlasaty Obituary
Barbara J. Vlasaty, age 95 of Mason, WI passed away Saturday, Nov 9, 2024 at Tamarack Health Ashland Medical Center in Ashland, WI. Barb was born Aug 1, 1929 in Washburn, WI the daughter of Chester and Ruth (Berquist) Wroblewski.
On Sept 4, 1948 Barb was united in marriage to Paul J. Vlasaty in Moquah, WI. She was a homemaker who loved her family very much.
Survivors include her children, Barbara Pingel of Atkinson, New Hampshire, Donna (Larry) Nelson of Auburndale, Florida and David (Diane) Vlasaty of Delta, WI; grandchildren, Erin (Brendan) Grace, Andrew (Kristi) Bernitt and Joshua (Caitlyn) Pingel; great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Ian, Elliot & Emmet Grace and Christopher Bernitt and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul on Dec 23, 2001, two sisters and one brother.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday, Nov 16, 2024 at Saint Michael Catholic Church in Iron River, WI with Father Joji Boyapati as Celebrant.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday morning and continue until the hour of service.
Interment will take place in Saint Michael Cemetery, Iron River, WI.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mountain Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Ashland and Mellen, WI.
