Mary Wiggs Obituary

Mary Ann Wiggs (née Gerbozy) passed away on October 14, 2024, in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was born on June 17, 1946, in Duluth, Minnesota.

She is survived by her daughters, Dina Wiggs (Derek Wellington) and LeaAnne (Dan) Depies; her grandchildren, Alyssa (Charlie) Korlath, Nicholas Depies, Ella Wiggs, and Jack Wiggs; and her step-grandchildren, Hannah Wellington, Noah Wellington, and Leah Wellington. She is also survived by her brother, Donald (Norma) Gerbozy, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucille Gerbozy, and her brother, Andrew Gerbozy.

Mary Ann had a quirky sense of humor and a contagious laugh and smile that brought joy to those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A special thank you is extended to the family members who showed their love and care for Mary Ann in her final years-your kindness will always be remembered.

On April 25, 2025 there will be a wake at 10:00 AM. Followed by Mass. Interment will follow at St Michaels Cemetery. A luncheon at the church after. This will be at St. Michael Catholic Church, located at 68105 S. George St., Iron River, Wisconsin.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
