Beverly A. DeTomaso

April 5, 1938 - July 19, 2025

Beverly A. DeTomaso, 87 of Auburn passed away unexpectedly over the weekend at her home on July 19, 2025.

She was born in Auburn on April 5, 1938, the daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn (O'Connell) Cavanaugh.

Beverly graduated from West High School, class of 1956, and the Central City Business Institute in 1957. She retired from the former Bombardier (Alco) Company after many years of service.

She is survived by three stepchildren, Joseph, Michael, Mark; and several step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband William in 1998; and brothers Eugene and Richard Cavanaugh.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend her Mass of Christian burial, Tuesday, July 29th at 10:30 a.m., in St. Alphonsus Church, Auburn.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to the Mathew House, 43 Metcalf Dr., Auburn, N.Y. 13021.
