Brenda Schloemann

May 20, 1966 - July 8, 2025

Florence, Colorado - Brenda Ann (Nager) Schloemann, 59, passed away on July 8, 2025 in Florence, CO. She was born in East St. Louis, IL on May 20, 1966 to Charles Nager and Betty Lou Yvonne Fey. Brenda grew up in Belleville, IL, followed by Colorado Springs, CO. She once lived in a beautiful house on Bear Trap Mountain near Florissant, CO, and then finally to Florence, CO in 2013. She received her Master's degree in social work and became a psychotherapist, providing care for many years.

Brenda loved the outdoors, and spent much of her time hiking, rock climbing, riding her bike, and playing volleyball. Her family, friends, and two dogs Pipsqueak and Stella were most important to her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Brenda is survived by her brother, Charles A. Nager; sisters, Karen E. Loethen and Linda K. Garrett; niece, Elizabeth Anne Loethen; nephew, John Michael Timothy Loethen; and her pups, Pipsqueak and Stella. She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Fremont County Humane Society: 110 Rhodes Ave. Canon City CO, or your favorite charity in memory of Brenda.
