Nanette "Nan" Muehlhauser

O'Fallon, Illinois - Nanette "Nan" Timpe Muehlhauser, 69, of O'Fallon, IL, passed away on March 25, 2026.

Born on January 2, 1957, Nan was the youngest of seven children born to George and Dorothy Timpe. Growing up, she lived all over the country, shaping her adventurous spirit and independent nature that would define her throughout her life.

Nan shared nearly 50 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Scott, a partnership built on love, strength, and unwavering commitment through all of life's highs and lows. A true example of the covenant of marriage.

She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Julie Muehlhauser (46) of O'Fallon, and her son, Joshua (Deann) Muehlhauser. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Dillon and Stella Bode, Drake and Sloane Muehlhauser, Makayla (Josh) Darnall, and Caraline and Jack Fisher, and a joyful great-grandmother to Zeke and Jonah.

Nan dedicated 30 years of service to the General Services Administration before retiring. She was also a proud owner of Scott's Power Equipment, where her chili recipe, support and zest for life left a lasting mark.

Nan had a gift for bringing people together. She loved planning parties, entertaining, and creating moments that turned into lifelong memories for those around her. She lived life on her own terms-famously "reporting to no one"-and was a fiercely independent woman with a vibrant spirit.

Her laugh was infectious, her presence unforgettable, and she had a way of making every room feel brighter. Nan exuded joy, and that joy will live on in all who knew and loved her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
